Originally from Germany, I moved to Colorado in August 2020, and I now call Monument, Colorado my home. I’m married to my best friend, and together, we have two amazing daughters who bring so much joy, laughter and love into our lives. As a family, we cherish our time together—whether it’s spending weekends in the mountains, playing board and card games, watching movies, or simply sitting in our backyard together talking. We also love traveling and creating new memories together. Our family wouldn’t be complete without our two French bulldogs, who bring even more fun and laughter into our home.

Photography has always been a passion of mine because I believe that capturing moments is the only way to truly hold onto them. Life moves fast, and photographs allow us to relive the emotions, love, and beauty of the most special times in our lives. This is why I am so dedicated to creating images that families will cherish for generations.

'm Anne Holzem, the heart behind Anne Holzem Photography. We create timeless, elegant portraits that celebrate the beauty of motherhood and the precious first days of your baby’s life. I’m an international award-winning photographer specializing in maternity and newborn photography.

My love and passion is working with children of all ages. I received my degree in early childhood education in Germany and worked most of my life with children ages 1-6. At 13, I volunteered to work with special needs children and teens. I accompanied them over school vacations, weekends and holidays.

Photography started with my children 16 years ago. I wanted to keep every precious moment and hold on to those beautiful memories. I received various certifications through attending national and international trainings and workshops. In 2017, my journey as a Maternity and Newborn Photographer began, and “Anne Holzem Photography” was created. Recognized for my unique and high-quality work,  I established myself as one of Colorado Springs’ favorite Maternity and Newborn photographer.
Photography has always been more than just taking pictures for me—it’s about telling a story, capturing emotions, and preserving fleeting moments that become cherished memories for a lifetime.
